Nikko Chair for Archipélago / 2023
The small Japanese town of Nikko in Tochigi Prefecture was the main inspiration for the creation of this chair. It`s possible to see some references to the local architecture in the NIKKO`s design. For example, the imperial villa of Tamozov, the Shinto shrine of the early 17th century Tosho-gu, the city Chuzenji Park and Lake. The main accents of this model are the laconic aesthetic with thoughtful ergonomics (Archipélago).
